Role
This compilation showcases my social messaging, video storytelling, and photography skills. All video work was captured on iPhone, and more complex packaging was edited and completed using Premier Pro. I shot all the scenes and photos and then planned and scheduled posting and messaging for these events.
Project type
I have been tasked by the Colorado Fallen Heroes Foundation to take photographs of those who have lost their lives while serving their duty. This heartfelt effort involves capturing over 600 images to tell the day's story by packaging and presenting them as a gift to the families and agencies who have lost a loved one in the line of duty.
Throughout my work supporting law enforcement service events in Colorado, I have been entrusted with documenting ceremonies honoring fallen officers. Each assignment carried profound responsibility. The memory of these heroes was honored with utmost respect, and their sacrifices were never forgotten.
To ensure their stories reached and resonated with the community, I helped share messages of support through a variety of communication channels, including social media, video content, and radio calls. During memorial services, I photographed the proceedings with great care and intention. These images were later presented to the families as a tribute to their loved ones and as a lasting keepsake of their courage and service.
Having lost two of my own children in recent years, this work held an especially personal significance. Being able to honor others who have been lost was not only meaningful but a profound privilege.
